It is quite big, with walking trails, tennis courts, a playground area and a large fountain for the kids to run through in the summer. This is a great place to visit on a hot day because of the fountain but also because much of the playground area is shaded. Since this is truly a city park, it is more than just a place for kids to play. It is also visited by tennis players (it is the home court of the Russell Sage Tennis Team), dog-walkers, professionals on their lunch breaks, kids skipping school, retirees out for a stroll and, of course, parents looking for a place to relax while their kids run and play.
