The Bell Top Playground is a nice size playground, easy to keep an eye on everyone.
It consists of two types of playing apparatus one that is of medium height and is good for the younger kids two and up, then the second piece of equipment which was just recently added on is more appropriate for the older kids, much taller, stepper slides ,with a tree house feel to it. There are wood chip on the playground area so make sure to bring your sneakers in the warmer weather for comfort. There are also monkey bars and other balancing equipment, swings, a small basket ball court( this is concrete and flat if you wanted to bring some small ride on equipment) and a base ball field. There are some trees for shade in the summer. Towards the back of the school there are small hills for sleighing in the winter and some nature trails with a sweet little water fall for the perfect picnic spot. They also have an outdoor theater which the kids enjoy getting on stage and performing.
No bathrooms outside, so if the school is closed plan ahead... You can use the playground after school hours on weekdays, 3.30 onwards, weekends and on East Greenbush school holidays.
Parking is right beside the playground.
We also recommend you finish off your play date with a visit to Route Fore (which is just around the corner, off Bloominggroove Dr.) for some ice-cream and restrooms :)
