The playground at the Brunswick Community Center has a variety of play equipment. This includes four big kid swings, one small activity setup with slides for bigger kids, one small activity setup with slide for small kids and a small sand pit with digger. The playground has a treebark mulch kind of ground. There is a basketball court, a tennis court, lots of grass, a pond, picnic tables (no shade) and a gazebo.
There are also nature trails, but they are basically ATV trails and are not stroller friendly. They are buggy in the summer, muddy when wet, and there are no signs once you are on them. It's not the best playground, but I've never run into more than one other family there, and during the week, I'm usually the only one there. It's convenient for when the kids need a quick fix.kids that don't know how to use brakes on their bicycles.
The community center is rented out to groups, so basically is off-limits. During the summer, they have a weekly evening concert series, and in the winter, they flood the basketball court for skating.
