Menands Playground

This park's official name is Ganser Smith Memorial Park. It is visible from Rte. 378 between Troy and Albany.
Menands' playground is off of 787 taking exit 7W towards Menands/Watervliet, right after the second stoplight on Menands Rd. It is one of my favorite playgrounds since it has something for every age. There are swings and baby swings, a basketball court, a slide for little ones -say18mos & up- and a big slide for big kids. It has a shaded area with picnic tables, restroom facilities and a covered area with tables in case you want to have a party and a big big lawn for those who need to run, play tag, frisbee, etc.
