Main Avenue Playground, Wynantskill
Located right on Main Ave (Rt. 66) in downtown Wynantskill, this is a great little playground and its size makes it perfect for young toddlers.
There is ample parking behind the Town Offices building, just past Douglas Street. It is a town playground, so it is available for use all day, everyday. (No waiting for the big kids to get out if school!) There is a typical play structure with slides and things to climb on, a baseball diamond, nice hill for rolling down in the summer and sledding down in the winter and best of all, bathrooms located in the Town Offices building. There are lots of food establishments along Main Ave to grab a picnic lunch and make use of the picnic tables and benches at the playground. Incidentally, the Town Offices Building also houses the North Greenbush library so after running themselves ragged on the playground, your little ones can go grab a book and a video to take home.
